The Matterhorn outside of Zermatt Switzerland.
Dad flew ahead of me on the trail, reaching the Hornlihuette well before me. The gentleman that he is, he came back and took my backpack from me and walked with me the remaining hour. It was a steep climb to the hut.
At the base of the Matterhorn. Hornlihutte is a base camp for climbers to make their ascent up the face of the Matterhorn. People still die regularly on the Matterhorn - it's a big rock of a mountain and the only way up is with ropes and perserverance.
