Before we chronicle the adventures of summer, I thought it would be best to document the end of school. Skyview does a great job transitioning students from one grade to the next, which is especially important as they have multi-age classrooms. Sam finished 2nd grade and is moving classrooms into 3rd where he'll have Ms. Carrie as his teacher. He's already familiar with her as he had math with her last year and really enjoys her teaching style. Perrin is staying in the same classroom but will be the 2nd grader who gets to welcome all the new 1st graders. She's very excited to have Ms. Allie as her teacher but sad that Ms. Emiline moved to Virginia. We'll miss you Ms. Emiline but are happy that you are nearer family and in a place that fills your soul.
The celebration was a huge success and launched students into their new grades with eagerness! With school ending in May and starting again July 22nd, we best pack all sorts of adventures into our few weeks remaining.
