Bachelor Gulch, Colorado
Charlie and Lindsey's wedding was a beautiful weekend, let alone the actual wedding. It was set high in the Rockies at the exclusive resort of Bachelor Gulch, which is just down the road from Vail. Lindsey's parents, Bill and Diane Hart, we so fun and loving to all of us Strickler's and our family and it felt by the end of the weekend that we are all one big family.

The kids, and some adults, went for the bungee jumping trampoline - they flew through the air with truly the greatest of ease. Aunt Sarah got on one too, though Balin, Sam and I passed on the opportunity.
Grandma and Grandpa of the Woods were so fun to be around! The kids love their grandparents.
The welcome Barbecue on Thursday was put on by Charlie and Lindsey at this great outdoor venue. The kids danced around and played, entertaining themselves while the adults got to know one another.

The rehearsal went smoothly with everyone following directions but also enjoying themselves. Lindsey's brother Brian Hart was fun to get to know.

The Liberty Lake Strickler's took the opportunity to a little family time in the mountains. The kids were not very happy with the very high altitude and trails that went up. But it was nice to get out and enjoy our beautiful surroundings.
All in all we really enjoyed our time in Colorado. The Harts are a lovely family and I think everyone is blessed to have Lindsey join our family. We're excited to plan our next adventures with the Colorado Stricklers.
