Honey and Fluff

Boy oh boy, this fall has been a busy one. Balin and I have traveled to Yellowstone, Boston/NYC, Los Cabos Mexico, Denver, Phoenix, Costa Rica and hopefully finishing the year with a ski trip to Canada. After a year of sticking close to home, it was super fun to see friends, make new friends, see family and spend time alone.

The first trip, pictured above was Sam‘s class trip to Yellowstone. It was fun to get to know Sam‘s classmates and their parents and see the wonders of the natural world, but my favorite part was the conversations. We had 2 other parents in our truck for the trip, most parents and kids were on the bus, and the four of us had incredible conversation, the subjects ranging from Theology and politics to family histories and best dates. So fun.

The next journey destination was a Fall Colors Trip that didn‘t have any fall colors, but had lots of fun. Perrin, my friend Heidi and I headed to Boston to meet my neighbor Holly for a week of exploring parts of New England. We got to visit Babson, a university Perrin is interested in, sightsee in Boston, head southwest to updstate New York, where we feasted and hiked. From there we adventured into NYC - I even got an official welcome with a guy getting out of his car to yell at me as we allowed to many people to merge. Memories! I splurged on Hamilton on Broadway, which did not disappoint, walked our way through SoHo and tried to take it all in. We didn‘t get to any tourist spots except for the Twin Towers Memorial, so we‘ll have to go back to hit the iconic sites! Photos below not in order!
