The past two years have been pretty quiet around the Strickler household with Covid and Balin quitting his job. I personally have used it to foster a new hobby; watercolor painting. I really, really am enjoying it. It’s quieting, yet productive. I generally stick to painting flowers but am moving towards other scenes as my confidence grows.
One of the reasons I’m enjoying painting is I can use the product. I am having to send cards to people once again, which is something of a lost art. Another reason is it causes me to sit and focus for a period of time, which I find more and more challenging the older I get. A perfect Saturday night; a glass of wine, a good audible book and hours to paint. Just thinking about it makes me smile.
